Parish Extend

Welcome to Extend, Parish’s dynamic after-school program, designed to serve as an extension of your child’s day and curriculum. Extend strives to offer a range of programs for students of all ages and interests. From traditional Extended Day to specialized Exploration classes, the after-school hours turn into a time for development, discovery, and fun!

Registration for Fall 2026 will open July 22 at 10 a.m.

EXTEND PROGRAMS

EXTENDED DAY:
Extended Day is offered for students in PreK – 7th grade from dismissal time to 6:00 p.m. each school day. Additionally, we offer all-day care (7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) on parent-teacher conference days and most faculty workdays.
EXPLORATIONS:
Specialized Exploration classes provides your child with a diverse range of after-school programs, including academics, arts, athletics, and STEM. It offers a unique opportunity for them to delve into a new and exciting interest every day of the week.
PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS:
With a range of instruments offered, students have the option to choose their musical path according to their interests. Lessons are available for beginners through advanced musicians, both students and adults.

Director of Parish Plus Programs

Meet Dr. Ann Morgan

Ann came to Parish in 2017 as the Upper School Latin teacher, but quickly began branching out and getting involved in the Parish Summer program. Since 2022, she has served as the Director of The Academy overseeing academic programming outside of the traditional school day, including summer credit courses, academic workshops, and Parish Abroad. Ann loves working with teachers across divisions to help them bring innovative and engaging learning experiences to our students. When she is not planning fabulous programs for Parish and DFW community, she can be found playing in recreational sports leagues around North Dallas or tending to her menagerie of animals. She holds a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from University of Texas at Austin and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology from the University of Arkansas.

Meet Brendan Murphy

Brendan joined Parish in 2018 as a Humanities teacher. Over the years, he’s taken on many roles and now helps with Extend’s program administration and daily operations at both the Hillcrest and Midway campuses. Brendan loves making sure students get to their classes, lessons, and activities and that they have a great time while they’re here. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the College of Wooster and his M.A.T. from Brandeis University.

Meet Adrian Sanchez

Having worked with the program in various capacities since 2006, including owning 8Bit Education, which offered some of our favorite camps and classes, Adrian now manages the Hillcrest and Midway campus daily operations of Extended Day and Explorations. Adrian is also responsible for all registration and account details.

Meet Riley Coleman

Riley, a dedicated Parish Lifer, has been part of the Parish community for 20 years. She began her journey with Extend in 2020, initially as a substitute teacher and staff member, and has been an integral part of the program for nearly five years. Recently, Riley assumed the role of Lower School & Extend Assistant, where she works closely with both divisions to ensure a smooth transition from the school day to after-school care at the Hillcrest campus. From assisting in classrooms to creating engaging activities in Extend, Riley’s influence is felt everywhere. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a focus on Child Psychology from the University of North Texas.
