Campers will learn the skills needed to create a simple stop motion animation using LEGO ® bricks and figures.
With a partner, campers will work on a short script that will serve as the foundation of their stop motion. Students will learn basic photo editing and voice over techniques which will further enhance their short film. Staff will help campers write out their storyboard and arrange their scenes. Campers will be using provided smartphones and iPod Touches as cameras. Students are encouraged to bring their favorite LEGO® figurine to animate, or one can be provided to them. All hardware and software are provided including a flash drive with a copy of their film to take home.

We serve the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Schools and Recreation Centers, our community! We strive to create fun, engaging STEM curriculum that encourages technical and social skills both in and out of the classroom. Our classes and camps are affordable and with a variety of options available, we offer flexibility for educators, recreation staff, and parents. 8Bit Education works directly with clients to create camps and classes that fit their unique needs. We personally train and supervise our staff members to meet our high standards, as compared to standard franchise-based companies. Our founder, Adrian Sanchez, Jr., has been in the field of STEM Education for more than 10 years; he has worked with other companies and has seen what is possible when you open the door to the world of Tech for students! He believes that everyone should be able to have the experience of learning new skills and having fun at the same time!
