Players will go through a progression of goalkeeper specific skills, and the training will be appropriate for both beginners and experienced players.
Running concurrently with the soccer camps, players who want specific, technical goalkeeper development will separate and train with former Parish player and current Parish Goalkeeper Coach, Scout Starrett. Topics covered will include basic positioning, shot stopping, distribution and communication. At the end of each session goalkeepers will join the rest of the players for real game experience.
Players are asked to bring cleats/athletic shoes, shin guards, water, and sunscreen each day.

Scout Starrett, Parish Athletic Academy
Coach Scout Starrett, a Parish alumnus, played with Marymount California University where his team finished third nationally during his first season. He has trained with various elite teams including the USSF U16 and U18 Academy Teams and the Tottenham Hotspur youth team in the United Kingdom. Coach Starrett is currently the goalkeeper coach for Parish’s varsity teams and works with Parish Kicks teams as a coach and skills trainer.
