Take the stage in this exciting two-week acting camp, where young performers will bring the beloved story of Shrek Jr. to life!
About The Show: Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, his solitude is disrupted when a group of banished fairytale misfits, cast off by the power-hungry Lord Farquaad, invades his home. To reclaim his swamp, Shrek embarks on a journey with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad—only to find himself on a mission to rescue the feisty Princess Fiona. But in true fairytale fashion, surprises, challenges, and a little bit of magic await at every turn.
Audition & Costume Details: Auditions will take place on the first day of camp, and all campers will be cast in the show. Each actor will be asked to sing one minute of a musical theatre song acappella and may be asked to read a scene from the script. Roles will be assigned on the first day, and scripts will be sent home with each camper. Campers will need to provide a simple costume, with inspirational images shared during the first week.
Performance Dates: Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13 at 4:30 PM.
