This week-long workshop invites rising 1st and 2nd graders to explore the wonders of plants and gardening while building essential reading and writing skills. Campers will dive into captivating stories and non-fiction texts about seeds, flowers, and gardens, inspiring their imaginations and curiosity.
Each day, hands-on activities like planting seeds, creating flower crafts, and designing a magical garden will bring their learning to life. Students will also keep a Plant Journal, write creative stories, and compose poems that celebrate the beauty of nature. By the end of the week, campers will blossom as confident readers and writers, ready to grow their love for literacy and the outdoors.
