Math in 7th and 8th grades relies heavily on strong foundational math skills. This 5-day course will stress the importance of these skills such as multiplication, fact review, division, decimals, fractions, and place value.
Additional topics may include variables and expressions, equations and word problems, ratio, proportion, and percentages, as well as geometry. The focus is a review of concepts in preparation for the new school year and designed for students who have encountered difficulties in math during the school year. Through games, hands-on learning and real-world problem solving, students will end the week feeling more confident and prepared for math in Middle School.
