Transform numbers into meaningful visuals in this hands-on camp focused on creating and interpreting graphs!
Students will explore different graph types, from bar graphs and pie charts to scatter plots, and learn to match data to the best visual representation. Through fun experiments and surveys, campers will collect their own data, create graphs, and analyze real-world examples to uncover how graphs can sometimes mislead. By the end of the week, they’ll design their own data project and present it at a mini “Graph Fair,” showcasing their creativity and analytical skills. Perfect for students ready to turn data into stories!
