Step into the world of animal care in this fun, hands-on class! Students will become junior veterinarians and learn how to care for their favorite furry friends.
Each week, children may bring a stuffed animal pet from home to practice real vet skills like bandaging, checking ears, counting heartbeats, and helping pets feel better. Our little vets will suit up in lab coats, explore how the heart pumps using a model, view X-rays on a light table, and even try simple sutures.
Students will also practice setting up a full vet clinic, complete with clinic rooms and a cash register, and learn about different animals and their unique needs throughout the clinic. This class is a perfect mix of science, imagination, and caring for animals!
