This high-energy class blends the vibrant styles of Hip-Hop and Jazz, giving students a dynamic and fun dance experience.
Dancers will focus on rhythm, shapes, and stylistic movements, exploring everything from powerful, full body moves to detailed isolations of the hands and feet. Hip-Hop is known for its versatility, encompassing a variety of styles, while Jazz incorporates the elegance of ballet with urban and Hip-Hop influences for a unique fusion of movement.
Dancers will participate in the 13th Annual Parish Extend Dance Academy Performance on May 10. The class fee includes the Dance Performance costume.
Attire: Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps), optional black boy shorts (with flesh-colored convertible tights), no shoes, and hair pulled up.
