How Behind-the-Wheel instruction works:
Once a permit is obtained, the next step in our program is a 14-hour behind-the-wheel course, consisting of 7 hours of driving and 7 hours of observation. This fulfills the state’s instructor-led driving requirements.
Driving sessions are typically scheduled during students’ free periods at school, keeping weekends and evenings free for other activities. If preferred, families may also schedule sessions outside school hours, based on instructor availability.
After completing the course, the state requires an additional 30 hours of supervised driving with an adult over 21, including 10 hours at night.
Please download and return the form that will be attached to your confirmation email to Andrew Jennings as part of the enrollment process. You should not begin the course without completing and submitting this contract.
