Dance Technique consists of a variety of genres including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. This class will review basics but will advance quickly.
Dancers will build strength & flexibility and refine movement quality; and they will learn how to better control their bodies, while also learning various advanced leap patterns and combinations. Students will be given ample time to perfect their skills. All of which provide technically skilled dancers with the ability to dance using correct body placement and alignment and beautiful lines.
The 11th Annual Dance Academy performance will be held Saturday, May 13 at 10 a.m. in the Eller Theatre. The cost of the class includes student’s performance costume.
