Dance Technique Intermediate offers a dynamic mix of genres, including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. This class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and refining movement quality.
Dancers will work on body control, explore various leap patterns, and practice turn combinations, all designed to enhance technical skills. Through proper body placement, alignment, and line work, students develop the foundation to dance with precision, elegance, and confidence across multiple styles.
*Dancers will participate in the 14th Annual Parish Extend Dance Academy Performance on May 16. A rehearsal is scheduled for May 15. The class fee includes the costume for the performance.
Attire: Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps) or black fitted tank/t-shirt, black jazz pants or leggings, black boy shorts optional (must wear flesh-colored convertible tights), tan split-sole jazz shoes, and hair pulled away from the face.
