Step onto the dance floor with confidence – no partner needed! This beginner-level class introduces students to the elegance of classic dances like Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango, as well as the lively rhythms of Latin styles including Salsa, Merengue, and Cha Cha.
Participants will learn foundational steps, timing, and body movement while building confidence and coordination. All of this takes place in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment, perfect for anyone looking to get moving, improve dance skills, and enjoy themselves on the floor.
*Dancers will participate in the 14th Annual Parish Extend Dance Academy Performance on May 16. A rehearsal is scheduled for May 15. The class fee includes the costume for the performance.
Attire: Black leotard (tank or spaghetti straps) or black fitted tank/t-shirt, black leggings, tan split-sole jazz shoes, and hair pulled away from the face.
