This class is for students who have prior knowledge of the basic ballet positions of both feet and arms & can demonstrate plie, tendu, and degage and full understanding of the previous level.
Attention is paid to the proper extension of the legs and shape of the feet, developing movement sequences, port de bras and balance as the student continues to grow. Students will see an increase in difficulty in barre and center work as they begin to focus on repetition and retention. Single pirouettes and grand allegro are introduced. Body alignment and muscle awareness will determine progress. The Lyrical component combines technique and skills from ballet and jazz.
