This gentle and imaginative class introduces young dancers to the beauty of ballet and lyrical movement in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Dancers will explore basic ballet steps, positions, and posture while learning how to move expressively through flowing, lyrical combinations. With an emphasis on creativity, coordination, and musicality, dancers will twirl, leap, stretch, and tell stories through movement. The class encourages listening skills, self-confidence, and joy in dancing, all in a nurturing and playful environment. Perfect for little ones who love to move gracefully and express themselves through music!
*Dancers will participate in the 14th Annual Parish Extend Dance Academy Performance on May 16. A rehearsal is scheduled for May 15. The class fee includes the costume for the performance.
Attire: Pink split-sole ballet shoes, with hair pulled away from the face. While uniformity and proper dress are standard in dance programs, students will not change clothes during class.
