This class is designed for young dancers who have completed a beginner combo class and are ready to take the next step in their training, allowing for more focused development in ballet and jazz technique.
Dancers will continue to skip, gallop, leap, stretch, and move with joy—but with greater attention to proper alignment, control, and coordination. Ballet positions and movement vocabulary are strengthened, while jazz fundamentals are expanded through energetic combinations that introduce style, rhythm, and sequencing. This class encourages both discipline and creativity, blending structured technique work with opportunities for imaginative movement. Dancers will also build strength and balance through basic tumbling and floor work. It’s a fun, supportive environment where young movers can grow as confident, expressive dancers, while laying a strong technical foundation.
Attire: Black leotard, pink tights, pink split-sole ballet shoes, tan split-sole slip-on jazz shoe and hair pulled up.
